Easy Knitting Pattern - Beginners Batwing Sweater

Throw on this easy knit sweater at any time of the year. The stylish batwing sleeves mean you'll stand out for all the right reasons.

This simple sweater is knitted in two identical pieces with just stockinette stitch, you don't even need to know how to increase or decrease so it is perfect for beginners to try out simple shaping.

Create it with DK size yarn and 4mm needles. Any type of yarn material will work so you can try a cool cotton version for the Summer or go warm and woolly in the Winter.

This sweater is available in sizes XS (34 inch chest) through to 5XL (60-62 inch chest).

Shoulder to waist is approximately 18 inches (45cm), ease around the bust is approximately 10-20cm/8-10 inches as the sleeves add plenty of width.

• 4mm (US Size 6) knitting needles (60cm circular is recommended)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Measuring Tape

GAUGE
22 stitches x 30 rows = 10x10cm (4x4 inches) using 4mm (size 6) needles
